The main function of deco drain is to allow the water to drain properly. However, with its shape, deco drain offers many more possibilities and advantages than a standard central drain. With its rectangular form, it can be positioned widthwise, lengthwise, in the center of the shower, or off center. The unique way the deco drain is installed (with the slope), allows you to use different kinds and sizes of tiles. This slope plays a big role in the way the water is evacuated, one-way and very fast, so that the wastewater does not stay on the shower floor. Deco drain is also designed to contain a big quantity of water in its basin to insure the users there is no accumulation of water on their foot, even with a multiple jet shower. A two-inch hole facilitates a fast evacuation of the water. The drain is entirely made of stainless steel for easy cleaning and lifetime usage. Stainless steel, unlike steel or cast iron, will never rust. The finishing grid, offers a clean and personalized look. This grid is offered in stainless steel or chrome to blend with most bathroom and plumbing accessories which are usually chrome. There are infinite patterns for the holes in the grid, whether it is simple rectangular holes, a drawing, or a signature. Deco drain can be used for showers with no threshold, this way it is accessible for wheel chairs also.

Deco drain is enhancing the standards in terms of residential showers, although it is can also be used for commercial and industrial purpose. Not only is it resistant, it is trendy, reusable and very practical with its many functions. It also comes in many different dimensions. All lengths are pretty much available. The number of fittings depends on how long the drain is. For instance, a 10 foot drain will require more fittings to ensure a proper drainage.
